Health and wellbeing
Resources and links to services supporting athlete’s mental health, peer support programs, wellbeing, female health and coping with change.
- Mental Health Referral Network. Free, individualised mental health counselling for categorised athletes, staff, and alumni.
- Retired Athlete Peer Support Network (RAPS). A peer-to-peer support network for formerly categorised athletes to connect with peers around the shared experience of retirement. It provides a 6-week group support program and alumni networking opportunities throughout the year.
- Wellbeing Learning and Development Framework. The Framework houses all of the wellbeing programs and opportunities that are available to categorised athletes covering mental health, community engagement, career and education and professional development.
- Athlete Wellbeing Education. Delivering foundational wellbeing education to Australian athletes on their high-performance journey.
Female health
- Female Performance Health Initiative (FPHI). The FPHI suite of resources were established to improve female athlete specific knowledge and systems of support, including ‘disordered eating’ and 'pregnancy'.
