Inclusion and Diversity: Indigenous, opens in a new tab, Unisport Australia, (accessed 19 August 2025). Through partnerships, cultural awareness, and targeted initiatives, Unisport Australia work towards breaking down barriers and providing equal opportunities for Indigenous individuals to participate, lead, and excel in sport.

• Indigenous Nationals, opens in a new tab. An annual, week-long multi-sport competition for Indigenous student-athletes. The event brings together student-athletes from universities across Australia to compete in a variety of sports and ultimately crown one university team the Champion of the Games. The 2025 event included mixed competition across four sports: touch football, basketball, netball, and volleyball.
• bp Australia scholarship program, opens in a new tab. Awards two, $5,000 scholarships to the most promising Indigenous student-athletes to support both their academic and athletic endeavours. Scholarship recipients are also offered mentoring and professional development opportunities from bp.
• UniSport Awards, opens in a new tab. Each year a 'Most Outstanding Sporting Achievement by an Indigenous Student-Athlete' is presented at the event.
