Healthy Lifestyle Grants Program, opens in a new tab. Provides funding to local projects that address one or more of the following objectives: increase access and promotion of healthy food and drinks; reduce access and promotion of unhealthy food and drinks; increase food security; increase opportunities for active living and physical activity; support behavioural change to reduce the risk of chronic conditions; create partnerships to support health and wellbeing.
Voucher program
Sports vouchers, opens in a new tab. All children (preschool – year 12) living in an urban school area are eligible to receive a $100 sport voucher at the start of each semester (January and July). Parents or carers need to apply online for vouchers each semester.
Learn to swim vouchers, opens in a new tab are available for children under 5 years of age who are not enrolled in preschool or school. Each child can receive two $100 vouchers per year. Children must be registered for the water safety awareness program run by the Royal Life Saving Society before you apply for the vouchers.
