Australian Blind Football, opens in a new tab. Australian Blind Football is an initiative of Blind Sports Australia and is working with Football Federation Australia (FFA) to be the recognised national pathway by for people who are blind or vision impaired to play football for Australia. There are two versions of the game of blind football. Blind football (B1 or 5 a side football) is played by athletes who are totally blind. Vision impaired futsal (partially sighted futsal) is played by athletes who are vision impaired.
- Australian Blind Football 4 All, opens in a new tab, or ABF4ALL aims to increase grassroots participation in football by people who are blind or partially sighted, regardless of age, gender or ability. In 2021 Australian Blind Football partnered with community football clubs and State Football Federations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Australian Powerchair Football Association (APFA), opens in a new tab. The Australian Powerchair Football Association was established in 2010. Powerchair football is a modified version of soccer for electric wheelchair users. It features specially modified powerchairs, an oversized ball, and is played on an indoor court. There are two teams of four players (including the goalkeeper). APFA competitions allow athletes the opportunity to take their sport to higher levels of competition from local to regional, state, national, and international events.
Deaf Football Australia, opens in a new tab. Was founded in 1983, and is the peak body for Deaf and Hearing Impaired Football in Australia. DFA's aims include fostering, encouraging and promoting deaf people's participation and skill development in football and advocating, educating, informing and supporting the football structure to make it capable of including deaf people.

Disability Football Toolkit, opens in a new tab, FIFA, (March 2025). FIFA has developed this toolkit to support and enhance opportunities for disabled people. The toolkit has been designed to support the global advancement and sustainability of Disability Football opportunities and structures and the inclusive and active participation of disabled people in all aspects of the beautiful game.
