FIFA launches new global volunteer programme, opens in a new tab, FIFA.com, (5 December 2020). FIFA Volunteer will provide a single, dedicated platform for people interested in volunteering at FIFA tournaments and events, as well as serving as a registration and application portal going forward. As part of the new programme, fans aged 18 and over will be able to register on the FIFA Volunteer Platform to receive the latest news and updates about volunteering at upcoming FIFA events. Fans and members of the public interested in volunteering at FIFA tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup™, will also be able to apply to become a FIFA Volunteer via the platform.
