The simplest way is to get in touch with your local club and let them know you are keen to get involved. Information and resources on becoming and supporting different volunteer roles:
- Officiating, opens in a new tab. In this volunteer role you will contribute to the fair and safe running of sailing competition and Australian Sailing has a National Officiating Program covering all the following roles: Race Officers, Judges, Umpires, Measurers, Equipment Auditors.
- Instructors, opens in a new tab. Qualification Pathway includes, Assistant Instructor, Instructor, Senior Instructor.
- Coaches, opens in a new tab. Australian Sailing has a range of learning options to develop coaching skills. The Foundation Coach and Sailing Coach courses provide options depending on your interests, aspirations, and experience in sailing.
- e-Learning Courses, opens in a new tab. The Australian Sailing myLearning portal has a catalogue of free and useful online courses created by Australian Sailing and Sport Integrity Australia that could benefit clubs, members, volunteers, administrators and instructors.
