To accelerate the growth of cricket for women and girls, we will build on our existing initiatives and are developing a new action plan to drive increased participation, engagement and representation of women and girls at all levels of Australian cricket.

International
100% Cricket, opens in a new tab, International Cricket Council, (accessed 31 March 2025). Women's cricket is one of the strategic priorities identified by the ICC, with the aim to 'Accelerate the growth of women's cricket, delivering 250 million incremental fans by 2032'. To achieve this, the ICC's Women's Cricket Strategy identifies four action areas: Programmes, Profile, Participation, People. 100% Cricket aims to change perceptions, create heroes and excitement, and support women in cricket. The campaign aims to increase the visibility and engagement of women’s cricket during and outside ICC Events, positioning women’s cricket as a viable sustainable commercial platform and reinforce ICC’s position at the forefront of the global women’s sport movement.
