Sailing

SheSails, opens in a new tab, Australian Sailing, (accessed 4 August 2025). Provides information and resources on news, events and courses across the country and the tools for clubs to promote their SheSails activities. SheSails aims to:

• Promote and celebrate women and girls' participation in the sport of sailing.
• Provide new and existing female sailors with the opportunity to enjoy activities at their local sailing club with like-minded people.
• Provide clubs with visual materials and case studies to help grow female participation in recreational and competitive sailing.
• Develop a platform to feature female-focused events and programs across the country.

World Sailing

Steering the Course, opens in a new tab, (accessed 5 August 2025). A global initiative to bring together sailing communities, highlighting the achievements of women already within the sport, as well as attracting those who have never tried it before.

• Steering the Course Strategy 2024-2029: World Sailing's plan to support women in sailing, opens in a new tab. Outlines a vision for how the sport will look by 2032 and encompasses a wide range of initiatives and objectives across seven priority areas – Coaches, Instructors and Team Leaders, Race Officials, Participation, Para Inclusive Sailing, Events, Media and Governance.
