Diving
Diving is an aquatic sport where athletes perform acrobatic jumps, twists and somersaults before entering the water with precision.
Diving has been practised in Australia for many years, although the history of organised competition is not well documented.
Australia's first Olympic diving competitor represented the nation at the 1908 London Olympic Games, reflecting the sport's early development in Australia. 1
