The Australian Sports Commission (ASC), in partnership with Proud2Play, Western Sydney University and Twenty 10, has developed a series of resources to support clubs to create more inclusive and welcoming sporting environments for everyone, including trans and gender diverse people.
We encourage you to use and share the fact sheets, posters, videos and podcast provided below to help educate and inspire people involved with your sport or club to understand the issues and barriers faced by trans and gender diverse people. Templates are available for clubs that would like to tailor a poster, fact sheet or presentation to the needs of their sport, club or community.
The resources provide useful tips and advice on appropriate and respectful language and behaviours and actions we can all take to make sport a safe place for all.
