The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) has launched Strategy in Sport, a new governance education course designed to help directors and sport leaders build the skills needed to guide organisations through an increasingly complex sporting environment.

The course explores the role of strategy in effective governance and supports participants to make informed, future-focused decisions that create long-term value for their organisations.

Strategy in Sport consists of five modules covering key areas of strategic thinking, planning and decision-making in a sporting context. Developed with contributions from leading governance and sport experts, the course provides practical insights that can be applied across a range of sporting organisations.

The new course forms part of the ASC's broader governance education offering for directors and leaders across the sport sector.
