Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.

Football Federation Australia, Member Federations and Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League are offering all Australian primary schools a complimentary digital resource to bring football to the classroom. The workbook is a fun, digital and interactive resource to ensure Australian schools, teachers and students are still getting their football fix.
The Schools Football Workbook includes the following key areas:
- Active via Sport Australia Physical Literacy Framework
- Experience through the standardised MiniRoos Schools Program
- Transition by educating schools students on their local clubs and the partnership with Member Federations
- Fan Engagement through the Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League and national teams

Students can also stay active at home with Football Federation Australia’s Football Skills Hub and #PlayAtHomeChallenge.
- Football Skills Hub, opens in a new tab – The Football Skills Hub includes activities, skills and videos to help students progress through the varying difficulty levels of core football skills.
- #PlayAtHomeChallenge, opens in a new tab - Whether it’s in the back yard, in a quiet field or in a safe place at home, Football Federation Australia want you to join their #PlayAtHomeChallenge. Each week they will post a new skill to master on their social media channels.
