Schools

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.

Research shows that quality sport and physical activity in schools has a positive influence on children’s confidence, competence and motivation to be active at school and throughout their life.

Whether you are looking to register your school and apply for funding, or if you are a teacher looking to deliver sporting activities in your school, you can join Sporting Schools and access more than 40 national sporting organisations (NSOs) and national sporting organisations for people with disability (NSODs) to help your school community get moving.
