ESEN information for institutions
The Elite Sport Education Network (ESEN) is designed to recognise the contribution tertiary institutions make to supporting student-sportspeople through their studies, and to the High Performance Sport system more broadly.
Defining elite sportspeople
The AIS has a specific definition of sportspeople they support, though institutions support a broad range of athletes, coaches, officials, and performers through their Elite Athlete (and Performer) Programs.
Applying for ESEN
Tertiary and educational institutions are invited to apply to join the Network. The application process requires institutions to self-evaluate against the Foundational Pillars, and sign the Win Well Pledge.
ESEN Advisory Group
The ESEN Advisory Group is composed of representatives from the Network, Australia’s HP System, and other relevant professionals.
