The 2nd WiHPC Showcase targeted executives and HP leaders across the sporting landscape aiming to demonstrate how diversity in leadership and coaching will give Australia performance gains and drive systemic change.

The purpose

The WiHPC team delivered a 12 month report upon the Leaky Pipeline Action Plan. It aimed connect with the recently released National Gender Equity in Sports Governance Policy. The Showcase aimed to strengthen engagement with NSO/Ds and NSOs, researchers, Global partners and other advocates to share impact stories. In addition, it sought to harness insights from the knowledge and expertise in the room and build momentum for the WiHPC Project by strengthening and expanding our networks.

Key Outcomes

The day involved over 120 participants and 38 sports 22 organisations. The CEOs and Board chairs were led through an actual Leaky Pipeline that demonstrated targeted interventions and programs that are currently impacting upon women coaches in the HP landscape.

The virtual Leaky Pipeline involved the creation of ten women personas in collaboration with our women coaches.
