Introduction to Mental Performance in Competition
Introduction to Mental Performance in Competition is an online education program that provides the fundamental principles and six skills every athlete should know to be Competition Ready.
All athletes will experience stress, pressure, and expectation in training and competition. Accepting the thoughts and emotions that occur and knowing how to direct your focus is important for best performance.
The course will take you through skills to:
- Train with Intent
- Understand stress
- Direct your Focus
- Accept and manage emotions
- Build Competition Day Plans
- Be Ready for anything at events
While we recommend that you work through the course in the order that is written, you are welcome to do it in any order and choose the sections that interest you most.
Please note, these modules will not store your progress if you exit before completing. However, when you return to the module, you can select a start point from anywhere in left hand menu.
