AIS Performance Pathways and Programs
The AIS Performance Pathways and Programs Team support sports to develop and improve the effectiveness of Australian high performance (HP) pathways to successfully identify, develop, support and progress talented athletes to achieve medal winning performances in the future.
Performance Pathways and Programs Purpose
- Partner with NSOs to develop integrated HP strategic plans, identify priority campaigns, and monitor performance outcomes.
- Support NSOs to deliver integrated, sport-specific athlete pathways that identify and holistically develop talent toward medal-winning success.
- Assist NSOs to coordinate system resources to execute their HP strategic plans.
- Support the development of HP people, high-functioning performance teams, and programs across system partners.
- Lead delivery of sport performance initiatives under the Win Well Strategy.
