Perceptions of opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity.

In 2024/25, overall perceptions of opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity were in line with previous years, and generally positive.

However, boarder cost of living trends are reflected in the proportion who felt that access to sport and physical activities was free or priced low enough for them to participate as much as they would like, which has steadily declined since 2021-22.
