Golf
Golf was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 1992 to 2010.
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) golf program began in 1992 as a residential program based in Melbourne for both male and female golfers.
Working with the Australian Golf Union, the Australian Ladies' Golf Union, and the Professional Golfer's Association the program aimed to develop 17–19-year-old golfers who had already shown potential at the senior level of golf.
The program was suspended on 1 July 2005 pending the outcome of the amalgamation process between the Australian Golf Union and Women’s Golf Australia. The program recommenced in March 2007, aimed at supporting the Australian national amateur squad and targeted Australian rookie professionals.
At the end of 2010, the AIS golf program ceased. Responsibility for coaches, athletes and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for golf at the time.

This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
