Shooting
Shooting was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 1997 to 2000.
The AIS Shooting program was established in 1997 ahead of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The program included both Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
The program was discontinued in December 2000 following the completion of the Olympic Athlete Program funding. Responsibility for coaches, athletes and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for that sport at the time.
This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
