Skeleton
Skeleton was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 2006 to 2014.
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Skeleton program was established in 2006 with the aim to develop athletes from other sports into skeleton athletes who could compete at the elite level.
The program concluded mid-2014 when the AIS transitioned out of athlete scholarships and sport programs. Responsibility for coaches, athletes and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for skeleton at the time.
This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
