Alpine Skiing
Alpine Skiing was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 1996 to 2013.
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) provided scholarships and programs for able bodied Alpine skiing (1996-2010) and Ski cross (2008-2014) based in Melbourne.
The first Paralympic skiing scholarships were awarded to individual athletes from 1993-1995. In August 2001, the AIS and the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) partnered to create the Paralympic Alpine Skiing program that continued until 2014.
At the conclusion of the AIS programs, responsibility for coaches, athletes, and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for skiing at the time for able-bodied disciplines, and to the APC for Paralympic programs.

This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
