Wrestling
Wrestling was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 1996 to 1999.
The wrestling program at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) commenced in 1996 funded by the Olympic Athlete Program (OAP). It was aimed at developing young male athletes in the lead-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
During 1999, the AIS transitioned out of offering athlete scholarships for wrestling. Responsibility for coaches, athletes and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for wrestling at the time.

This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
