Play Welll State and Territory Roadshows
State and Territory Roadshows
Each year, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) partner with sector stakeholders to deliver a series of Play Well roadshows across Australia.
The roadshows provide the opportunity for stakeholders from across sport to come together and connect, explore the progress of Play Well and explore what the strategy might look like as we work to remove barriers so that everyone that wants to be involved in sport, can be involved in sport.
The 2025 roadshows were delivered across September - October 2025 with close to 500 people attending the eight sessions held across the country.
The roadshows focused on:
- Identifying the biggest challenges for sport participation in each jurisdiction
- Understanding the progress and the key activities that have taken place in Year One of the Play Well Strategy
- Celebrating the success and case studies of local organisations and sports
- Identifying the key steps that need to take place as we accelerate into Horizon 2.
The information from the roadshows will contribute to the ongoing progress of Play Well activities so that everyone that wants to be involved can be involved in sport.
