Sporting Schools has partnered with Disability Sports Australia to offer Abilities Unleashed Program opportunities for students living with disability in schools across Australia.
Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is a national charity dedicated to increasing grassroots sport participation for people with disability. For more than 60 years, DSA has been at the forefront of disability sport in Australia.
The Abilities Unleashed Program, opens in a new tab is a come and try experience connecting students with disability to local sport and active recreation activities. As an introduction to sport, the program offers a welcoming and inclusive way to try a variety of accessible activities in a supportive environment. Whether students are new to sport or looking to build their confidence, Abilities Unleashed creates new pathways for children with disability to get involved in sport and recreation in their local community.
