Judo Australia has developed Judo4Kids to introduce primary school students of all ages and abilities to the traditional martial art of Judo. Thank you for considering Judo for your students.
Judo4Kids uses judo games to teach fundamental judo techniques, Japanese terminology and the Judo Moral Code: Respect, Honesty, Self-Control, Modesty, Friendship, Courtesy, Honour, and Courage. Our Endorsed Coaches Live The Code - all are linked to local judo clubs, many are competitive judo athletes, and most will have considerable experience working with young children, teaching similar age groups in their homo dojos.
Judo4Kids stresses fun and physical activity, while being respectful of difference. It’s a great introduction to the social, physical and mental benefits provided by this exciting Olympic sport, practiced by more than 40 million people worldwide.
