In addition to the ASC Restorative Program, the following support options are also available to you as people in the high performance system.

Wellbeing support

AIS Mental Health Referral Network

If you are going through a difficult time with your mental health or you want some advice on how to improve your wellbeing, the AIS Mental Health Referral Network (MHRN) is a group of expert psychologists and mental health clinicians who understand the pressures and complexity of life in a high performance setting.

Whether you have been or are an athlete, a coach or a support staff member in high performance sport, connect with the MHRN to access free and confidential support for yourself or to refer someone else.

ASC Sexual Misconduct Helpline

If you have been impacted by sexual misconduct as a result of your involvement with sport, or you are seeking information to prevent or respond to observed sexual misconduct, you can contact the ASC Sexual Misconduct Helpline.

The ASC Sexual Misconduct Helpline is a confidential helpline available to assist people in the Australian sports community.

AIS Be Heard

AIS Be Heard is available for people in the high performance system to share their experiences and be provided with support.  AIS Be Heard is available to current and former athletes, coaches and staff across the Australian high performance sports system. This includes the AIS and the National Institute Network, comprising state and territory Institutes and Academies of Sport.

Lifeline

If you need immediate support, please contact Lifeline. Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. They are available 24 hours a day to listen, without judgement to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
