Canoe Slalom
Canoe slalom was an Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarship sport from 1990 to 2013.
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) provided scholarships and programs for able-bodied canoe slalom athletes commencing in 1990 based in New Norfolk, Tasmania.
The program was paused in 1993 and resumed in 2001, based at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in New South Wales.
During 2013, the AIS transitioned out of athlete scholarships and sport programs. Responsibility for coaches, athletes and programs was transferred to the principal National Sporting Organisation for canoe/kayak at the time.
This page includes athletes who were on AIS scholarship for at least three months consecutively. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information is accurate and comprehensive.
