Disability Sport Action Plan
Help shape the future of disability sport in Australia
The Australian Sports Commission is working with the sport sector and the University of Queensland (UQ) to develop a Disability Sport Action Plan.
The project will help build a more connected and inclusive sport system, so people with disability can access, participate and progress in sport in ways that suit them.
Why this matters?
People with disability still face barriers to participating in sport. This project will listen to people across the community and sport sector to better understand what is working, what needs to change, and where stronger collaboration is needed.
Have your say
We want to hear from people with disability, families, carers, volunteers, coaches, officials, clubs, schools, community organisations, disability organisations and sport bodies. If you have not been involved in sport, we are also keen to know why.
This project is being delivered in partnership with the UQ and guided by the Disability Sport Advisory Group, which brings together people with lived experience and expertise from across sport, disability, inclusion, research and system design.
