Leveraging Expertise Development Program

Leveraging expertise is a development program targeting senior performance support practitioners seeking to increase their impact, leverage expertise across contexts and enable world-leading performance solutions.

Overview 

The program aims to develop and support Performance Support practitioners in technical delivery roles, who are recognised subject matter experts in the High Performance sport system. Ensuring performance support experts continue to effectively contribute to the Win Well Strategy through delivery of world leading knowledge and practice, enabling athletes and coaches to achieve performance outcomes.      The program will cover areas such as:

  • Understanding self & relational awareness 
  • Explore how you can influence in complex environments 
  • Develop change leadership, project delivery & experimentation skills
  • Build consultancy skills for subject matter experts: contracting and scoping solutions, communication and presence
  • Facilitating and managing group dynamics
  • Ethics, boundaries and resilience
  • Systems thinking and complex problem solving

Objectives

The key objectives of Leveraging Expertise Development Program are: 

  1. Invest in senior performance support practitioners across the HP system to leverage their expertise and enhance impact across various performance contexts.
  2. Develop capability and capacity through peer group learning and reflective practice, while navigating technical, interpersonal, and strategic considerations.
  3. Provide new tools and strategies to refine expertise, expand professional networks and sustain long-term influence.

Program details  

  • Program architecture - Leveraging Expertise Development Program
  • Participation in this program is free with catering provided, however participants are expected to cover the cost of any travel, accommodation, ground transport and meals outside of the workshop to attend. 
  • Attendance at all residentials and the online case study presentation is compulsory, as they are fundamental to the program.
  • This program will be capped at 15 participants.
