Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Australian Sports Commission is determined to have more Australians participating and excelling in sport, from grass-roots right up to the pinnacle of elite competition.
All Australians should be able to participate in sport in a welcoming and inclusive way – regardless of age, ability, socio-economic status, cultural background, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
We believe that sport has a place for everyone, and that every person should be treated with respect and dignity and protected from discrimination, harassment and abuse.
To promote more inclusive sport practices in our community, we have a variety of easy-to-use tools and resources to help sports and clubs understand, recognise and celebrate inclusion and diversity.
