Sport Volunteer Resource Hub
Welcome to the Sport Volunteer Resource Hub
The Hub is designed to support those involved in volunteering in sport. Be it at your local club through to major sporting events such as a national championship or mass participation event.
The Hub is based around the Sport Volunteer Experience Framework, providing you with the opportunity to engage with the Vision for the Future of Sport Volunteering and the five identified elements that should underpin all volunteer experiences. These elements apply regardless of the sport, organisation, role or individual.
Vision for the Future of Sport Volunteering
"People from all walks of life see and realise opportunities to contribute to individual, club and community goals in a way that suits them."
The five pillars of the Sport Volunteer Experience Framework
Navigating the Sport Volunteer Resource Hub
There is no specific order or sequence that you must follow when navigating the Hub. You will find a common theme running throughout the Hub that ensures you are able to:
- Develop an understanding of each element of the Sport Volunteer Experience Framework through a short animated video
- Dive further into why that particular element is important to understand when developing the experience for your volunteers
- Find a quick and easy-to-implement, thought-provoking tip
- Explore examples of each element in action, connecting you to useful case studies, videos and resources
- Support you in incorporating the 'ways of working'
