Support me

Watch this: Support me

Most sport volunteers are there because they play sport or their kids play sport, but they don't have the skills to run a 'small business'

Why is it important to Support me?

  • Many sport volunteers start without clear onboarding or defined responsibilities
  • Volunteers often need training and shared resources to perform their roles effectively
  • Burnout is common when responsibilities pile up or there aren't enough people to share the load
  • Providing both practical skills and emotional support helps volunteers, clubs and communities thrive

Tip

Consider local sport networks and the involvement of your club's volunteers. Your local tennis, bowls, cricket, rugby, swimming and athletics clubs do not compete against each other on the field. So why not work together? One cup of coffee and a conversation with someone just like you could be exactly what you need to unlock that next big idea...

When done well...

Sport volunteers should feel confident about what they are meant to be doing. They should have access to the training, tools and support to perform their role, and achieve their own personal goals.

This is your chance to...

Work collaboratively
